This site gives you a sense of who I am and what I am about.
I do my best to keep all these "balls in the air." Generally speaking I think I achieve that, thanks to the great support I get from Wendy who helps keep me from moving in circles.
I always make an effort to have time for people. I return all my phone calls and I answer all my personal emails. Most of the time that happens on the same day they come in. So please contact me!

Here are some basic facts about me ...
- I was born and raised in Toronto in a good Christian home.
- I graduated from Bible College in the 1960s and have been in ministry, directly and indirectly ever since.
- I have been successfully married to Wendy since July 27, 1968.
- We have 4 adult kids. Three homegrowns and one import. All are married have children. Wendy and I have a total of 10 grandchilden on earth and 1 in heaven.
- We all do stuff to help grow churches. We managed to infect all our children with the virus of the Good News!
- I have a friend who calls me a "ministry engineer." That is because I am wired for new ministry development.
- I write a lot of words. Thankfully, many of them get read and appreciated.
- They say I am young for my age. They just don't know how much I fake it!
- When people ask me, "What do you do?" I answer with the truth, "I help people start churches." Then if they want more I add, "And I do a lot of things to support that habit because it takes a lot of money."
